through the eyes of an asian...

this is what i saw today:

1) asian girl WITH an umbrella standing in the bus hut waiting for the bus to come....while there were many, like me, who lacked water protection. she was hogging everything, seriously asian girl? seriously? and you wonder why people complain about us sometimes

2) kid in my discussion class today laughing and chuckling at our TA every time he spoke because he had a foreign accent. seriously dude, you are in college now, and at u of i of all places which is filled with many non-english speaking kids. either you are from the south and have never came in contact with anything other than a farmers tan, shirtless white dude who barely knows english themselves. so i know whenever he couldn't pronounce "appreciate" or when he said "caught" it sounded like "cock" it's hilarious and all (the last one is funny i guess, haha) but lay off of him dude, unless you think you can go teach the class.

3) over sized umbrellas. seriously unnecessary. when you're umbrella can fit a whole midget family underneath it, you are obviously overcompensating for something.

4) teacher-grandma-jean skirt at murphys the other night. okay, lady, i don't know if you were really an elderly, but c'mon....you were wearing a button jean skirt that came up to your chest. You also had on your stylish hipster, flannel shirt with your black rimmed glasses. also, watching you dance in that wasn't the most exciting thing either. ps. you stepped on jaclyn's foot and she was about to beat some ass. way to go.

5) amazing cookies that our neighbors baked for us. seriously, you girls are amazing. even though i forgot your name and you remember mine somehow. way to be selfish like that btw...but really, cookies are awesome and anytime you need to transport your television somewhere, the greek and the asian will be there. also, everytime i run into you in the hallways, i feel bad i don't know your name, so during our conversations i try to think of ways i don't have to refer to you by name.

6) final fantasy 9. yes, i said it. the game is seriously underrated. i know a lot of gamers out there are saying that it was one of the worst ones to come out of the series. but honestly, i think its enjoyable, complex, and just straight-out kickass. the characters are developed well, it has a very simple interface, and the battles actually involve some sort of strategy. i mean i know there are better final fantasy games out there, but don't hate on this one just because you don't think its up to par with the later ones that were released. okay, i don't know how much more nerdy i could sound now, sooooo i should probably change topics right about now. oh and kenny is playing the game right now as we speak....he's at level 48 with freya and it's still only disc 1

this guy knows what i'm talking about

7) hurricanes. c'mon mother nature, if you are going to rain, why can't you keep it at moderation that we can handle. we get that you are pissed at us for destroying this world, and i should know since i did make that awesome movie on recycling....right guys....but yea, i completely agree with you here and that there are a lot of dumb people out there, but don't punish those that actually care. that is all.

8) chem 360. this class does not really have use of the professor. she may have lectures and teach us the material, but she does not incorporate what we learned in class to the homework that is usually assigned to us. although i do have to give her some credit because the last homework was not as bad as the previous ones. that still doesn't change the fact that her test will most likely blow.

9) sorority recruitment. i love how you all have the same looking umbrellas ladies. i mean, you all looked very lovely today and i'm sure you all are pissing your pants about which house you are going to get into. the day is looming ahead which will decided the fate of your whole collegiate career. many of you will be ecstatic about the house you end up in and create countless memories at bomb night at co's or classying it out at station. sorry for those that don't get into my favorite house, the ADPi's. they have a special spot in my heart. shout out to sabs, mal and all my other sisters, haha. but yea, nice umbrellas. keep up the good work.

10) joke-tarts. amazing as usual.

that's it for now, since i have nothing more i can think of that i saw.

enjoy and stay out of the hurricane.
